Product Details  •  Description: This wagon comes from a farm south of Abilene, Kansas.   It was an old box wagon used for hauling grain to town.  It was “updated” in the 30’s (according to children of owner) and now sits on an old automobile frame.  The hoops, foot rest and cover were added by me.  The metal  hoops were  fashioned from an original wooden  hoop used as a pattern.  The heavy cloth cover dates to about 1950 and comes from a roadside attraction on Hwy 36 in central Kansas.    Seat is of recent manufacture by me based on pattern dating from 1896.  Old wood was used along with original wagon seat springs.   More pictures available via email.  Measurements:  box:  30-1/2” wide X 10’10” long X  29-1/4” high.  Box sides  and ends are all constructed of 1-3/16” pine with only two boards used for sides & ends   Floor is also same thickness.  An excellent box by itself.      •   Price $1700  Delivery available: add $200 for delivery within continental U.S.
